JoieFarm 'PTG' Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, tangy, restraint.

PTG stands for Passe-Tout-Grains, which refers to the classic Burgundian wine combining the region's two red varieties, Gamay and Pinot Noir.
This vintage it is 40% Pinot and 60% Gamay.
It is a consistently charming red with aromas of of tangy red currents, red cherries, vanilla, baking spices, bruised violets, white pepper and cocoa. Flavours support the nose with tealeaf and fine spices, cigar and cocoa nibs. Excellent restraint and balance with good persistence overall.
It is a medium-bodied wine, juicy and fine boned and a perfect food wine.
Pair: Charcuterie, salmon, rich vegetable soups or creamy mushroom and herb tagliatelle.
